What is SSO (Single Sign-On)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows users to access multiple applications using a single set of credentials. Instead of remembering multiple usernames and passwords, users can securely log in to  PBX.IM  using their existing Google or Microsoft accounts.
SSO enhances both security and user experience, ensuring faster onboarding and centralized access management.

Supported Platforms

PBX.IM  currently supports the following SSO providers:
  • Google
  • Microsoft

Why Use SSO?

Using SSO is highly recommended because it:
  • Improves account security by reducing password-related risks.
  • Simplifies user access and authentication across devices.
  • Speeds up the sign-up and login process.
  • Enables IT teams to centrally manage permissions and credentials.

How to Enable SSO in  PBX.IM

To activate or manage SSO in  PBX.IM :
Navigate to Settings → General → Security → User Login from the side panel.
Toggle the Enable SSO option to activate Single Sign-On for your workspace.
Once enabled:
  • New users invited to  PBX.IM  can choose to sign up using either Google or Microsoft, automatically enabling SSO for their account.
  • Users can also opt for the standard login method (email and password) if they prefer not to use SSO.

How to Sign Up Using SSO

After SSO is enabled in your workspace, new users can easily sign up and log in using their Google or Microsoft credentials.
