Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows users to access multiple applications using a single set of credentials. Instead of remembering multiple usernames and passwords, users can securely log in to PBX.IM using their existing Google or Microsoft accounts. SSO enhances both and , ensuring faster onboarding and centralized access management.
PBX.IM currently supports the following SSO providers: Using SSO is because it:
- Improves account security by reducing password-related risks.
- Simplifies user access and authentication across devices.
- Speeds up the sign-up and login process.
- Enables IT teams to centrally manage permissions and credentials.
To activate or manage SSO in PBX.IM : Navigate to from the side panel.
Toggle the option to activate Single Sign-On for your workspace.
Once enabled:
- invited to PBX.IM can choose to sign up using either or , automatically enabling SSO for their account.
- Users can also opt for the (email and password) if they prefer not to use SSO.
After SSO is enabled in your workspace, new users can easily sign up and log in using their Google or Microsoft credentials.
Go to the PBX.IM login or sign-up page. You’ll see options to continue with Google or Microsoft. Click or depending on which account you want to use.
If this is your first time signing in, your browser will redirect you to Google or Microsoft’s secure login page to verify your credentials.
- Enter your credentials (email and password).
- Review and grant the requested permissions to allow PBX.IM to authenticate your account.
